I really liked The Help, it was an interesting and uplifting novel.... but am planning to read
1Q84 over the long Xmas break. It's an interesting novel that created a cult following in Japan and when released in London generated the sales impact of the last Harry Potter book. If this tempts you remember it is a 3 volume book, but I'm told a good one.

I enjoyed "The Help" also. It is amazing what one person can do when they put their mind to it. One person can change the world! I have just finished listening to Petrea Thomas book (on CD as I was travelling back from Melbourne). This is a biography written about her battles with depression and being a high achiever in the international swimming world. This is a very motivating story which drives home the message if you want to achieve something strongly enough you will. Petrea is an awesome woman and a great role model for anybody.
