A Bit of Humour

 



This month we have been looking at Biographies.  They say that laughter is the best medicine so if you need a good chuckle then the following biographies may be just what you need to brighten up your day.

  • Miranda Hart sored to popularity in 2009 with her sitcom Miranda and has gone on to win numerous comedy awards including two RTS Awards and nominated for four BAFTA's.In her book Is It Just Me? Miranda converses in a running conversation with her younger self, Little M. Miranda takes you on a journey of life's awkward moments, funny anecdotes, and embarrassing situations.

  • Clive James, Always Unreliable : the memoirs. Always Unreliable is a collection of Clive James brilliant and outrageously funny memoirs together in one volume.  Unreliable  memoirs, Falling Towards England and May Week Was In June document the sharp and brilliant stories of Clive's life.

  • Jennifer Saunders, Bonkers: My Life in Laughs.  Jennifer Saunders is a comedian, writer and actress who has won three BAFTA's, an Intenational Emmy, to mention only a few.  Her story will guarantee lots of laughter occasional heartache but never misery.
